Quantum Dots offer advantages over classic
dyes, such as narrow emission peaks and much greater photostability, allowing
measurements over an extended period of time. In addition, Quantum Dots
do not have narrow excitation maxima. QDs will emit when excited with any
photons below (bluer than) their emission. This allows for multiplexing with
